Fall Events

October has come and gone and no posts. Seems I'm drifting to every other month, instead of monthly. I'll have to work on that. With October, school is in full swing and L~ senior year is a busy one. This month saw another milestone for our family with L~ turning 18, no more minors in this house. She also got her driver's license since my last post. Went to family camp ending with three of us helping out at our churches annual Fall Festival.

This month L~ and I went to Idaho (this was part of her B-day present) for the wedding of a childhood friend.

Another good friend went with us making a reunion of 5 childhood friends and their mothers. We got there on a Thursday, the wedding was on Saturday and the girls went home on Sunday. Sunday afternoon us mom's got together and had our own slumber party/reunion. We were missing the mom who is in heaven, but the time together was sweet just the same. Now it's time to get ready for Thanksgiving, and our annual pilgrimage to Parumph the day after to visit my dad. And we all know what comes after that, getting ready for Christmas. So I'd better get going and get caught up or work ahead or whatever so I'll be ready for the next thing.

PS. I just remembered two other things I've done this month. Made two new Squidoo lenses.
