So I'm going to have to cram to get this month's posting done. Tagging off of last months post, What do you do with those gingerbread houses after Christmas? A few, very few, and not us, seal them up and save them for next year. Our family on the other hand eats the candy we want off it and sometimes DH eats some of the gingerbread. Once that's done, some time in the beginning of Jan. we to this to our houses.

We had more excitement than we wanted this month. It happened on a Fri. night, right in front of our apartment, about 5 -10 min after Lisa was brought back home. First came the sound of a car crashing, getting up to check it out, I then heard the very distinctive sounds of gunfire. Those of downstairs quickly ran upstairs to the farthest corner of the house. When we didn't hear anymore we cautiously looked out the girls bedroom window to see a car at the end of the cul-de-sac, a guy spread eagle face down on the ground and several police with their guns pointed at the vehicle. It was quite the ordeal and more adrenaline than I needed that late at night. They finally towed the car away about 5:00 in the morning, which I was up to see as Lisa wasn't feeling well and need some Mom attention. Here is a link to the article that was in the register.

We ended the month with Monster Truck Jam, which was very exciting for the young boy we took with us. My favorite was the Airforce Truck and the freestyle motor cross at the intermission. Here are some pictures.
